We woke up extremely early that day, still half-asleep as we got ready and rushed to catch the bus. We were nervous and excited at the same time because we were going to perform at the SDO for the bamboo ensemble. The ride felt long, but when we arrived, we focused, prepared our instruments, and reminded ourselves to give our best.
When it was finally our turn, we performed with confidence, and all the hours of practice were worth it. After the performance, they gave us snacks even though the food wasn’t really that good, we didn’t mind. What mattered was that we finished the day strong and together. People said we did great, and hearing their compliments made us feel proud. Despite the early morning, the tiring trip, and the not-so-tasty snacks, we still managed to enjoy the moment and make it a day worth remembering.
