My night class for CCT ended really late, and by the time we got out, there were barely any rides left. The streets were quiet, and the air felt colder than usual, but we didn’t mind. Even though it was already so late, we were still laughing, talking, and enjoying every moment together. There was something comforting about being with people who made the night feel less heavy and less scary.
But the best part was knowing my boyfriend was waiting for me. I felt safe the moment I saw him, standing there ready to take me home. It didn’t matter how late it was or how tired I felt he made everything better. Having someone who makes sure I get home safely, who stays up just to be there for me, made the long night feel worth it. It’s moments like those that remind me how lucky I am.
