We visited a center to help out and spent time with the children there. Many of them were malnourished, so we prepared a big pot of rice porridge with plenty of eggs to give them some much-needed nourishment. Seeing their little smiles as they ate made all the effort worthwhile.
It wasn’t just about feeding them it was about giving them attention, care, and showing them that someone cared. Afterwards, we played “Trip to Jerusalem” with them, and even though we didn’t have a lot of prizes to give, the children were still incredibly happy. Their laughter filled the room, and their excitement was contagious. It was a simple day, but the joy and gratitude we saw reminded us that happiness doesn’t come from material things it comes from love, attention, and shared moments.
