MANILA (UPDATED) — Senate President Vicente Sotto III admitted Tuesday that he has heard of talks of another leadership change in the chamber, but he’s confident he’s keeping the helm of the Senate.
“We hear it every now and then. It’s a common… It’s a common kwento.”
Sotto said there were some stories over the weekend about people allegedly pushing for leadership change.
“One or two stories na meron daw lumalakad, kumakausap. Ganoon lang. “
The Senate President reiterated that he would rather leave the matter to his colleagues.
